Challenge FAQ
Eligibility, the fast track for UNO Q owners, and who owns what you build.
01Entering
Who can enter?
Residents of the United States, Canada, Mexico, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Norway who are 18 or older (or the age of majority where they live). Employees of Arduino, Qualcomm, and Embedder and their immediate families are not eligible.
I already have an Arduino UNO Q. Do I need to be selected?
No. Submit your idea and answer “Yes” when the form asks if you own one, and you’ll go straight into the build challenge with a full Embedder license. No selection round needed.
What if my idea isn’t selected?
You can still build. Get your own Arduino UNO Q, let us know, and you’re in the build challenge with a full Embedder license. Every finished project is eligible for the top prizes.
Who is running the challenge?
Arduino and Embedder, with participation from Qualcomm.
02Your project
Who owns what I build?
You keep full ownership of everything you build. Open source it or keep it private, it’s your call. We only ask for permission to feature your project in challenge promotion.
What can I use the Embedder license for?
The Embedder license provided for the challenge is an evaluation license for non-commercial use.
