Firmware is the layer the modern world runs on, and the slowest to build. A typical bring-up still means a senior engineer reading a 1,200-page reference manual, hand-copying register addresses, and staring at a logic analyzer at 2 a.m. waiting for a peripheral to blink. Inside a large organization that cost compounds: a silicon migration ties up a team for quarters, most of the development cycle goes to verification rather than design, and the engineer who understands the twenty-year-old codebase is often at a supplier, two acquisitions removed. Hardware keeps getting more complex while the pool of people who can program it shrinks, and every product schedule in semiconductor, automotive, medical, aerospace, and industrial now runs through that bottleneck.

Embedder is the enterprise AI platform built specifically for that work. It reads datasheets and schematics, writes firmware, flashes the board, runs the tests, watches the bus, and fixes its own mistakes, grounded in the actual constraints of the silicon—because in this industry, code that hasn’t run on real hardware doesn’t count. It operates the way regulated teams have to operate: in discrete, auditable steps that map to existing safety processes, deployed in a secure environment, working from their own documentation and hardware so institutional knowledge compounds instead of retiring with the engineers who hold it.
